As an attract screen, images pop up from the location of where they were photographed. Used to draw the visitor in and describe what the exhibit interactive element is about.
The ways the artist merged elements of historial San Francisco illustrates how devastating earthquakes can be. The panel above this touchscreen discusses earthquake preparedness and about the earthquakes and the Academy during the big california earthquakes.
Each collage has a description of what was being captured on that block in 1906. A map gives the artworks context.
